Russian invaders are deporting Ukrainian citizens en masse from the temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the Fakty newspaper with reference to the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova.
“The Ministry of Defense of the occupying state reports that 90,000 citizens of Ukraine, Moldova, and Russia have already been extracted from Kherson region. The Russians say grounds for relocation are the embassies’ appeals and applications submitted to the Kherson military commandant’s office,” Denisova said.
It is also known that over the past 24 hours, more than 19,600 thousand civilians, including 3,300 children, were deported from the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (temporarily non-government-controlled).
Thus, almost 440,000 civilians have already been deported from Ukraine by the Russian military, more than 91,000 of them children. In particular, the Russian army deported more than 98,000 civilians from Mariupol alone.
In connection with the mass forcible deportation of Ukrainian citizens to Russia, all Ukrainians who have fallen victim to such illegal actions of the Russian regime and wish to return to Ukraine are advised to report their details to the nearest Ukrainian embassy in neighboring countries or nations of possible transit.
