Daniel Zelisnky, Archbishop of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, has called on Western powers to introduce a no-fly zone over Ukraine that is being invaded by Russia.
“Ukrainian children deserve a chance to live… So, NO-FLY ZONE policy must be imposed over Ukraine… Let’s not be lukewarm Christian observers – let’s do what our calling must be – let’s SAVE LIVES!” Archbishop Daniel wrote on Facebook.
As reported earlier, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion.
Russian troops have been killing civilians, shelling and destroying key infrastructure, while their and warplanes missiles have been hitting residential areas across Ukraine, killing civilians.
