On November 16, the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine and Archbishop of Constantinople – New Rome, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, had a phone call.
The head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy, wished Bartholomew – on his own behalf and on behalf of the fullness of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine – good health, inexhaustible spiritual and physical strength, many and blessed years of service, the press service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine reports.
Also during the call, Metropolitan Epifaniy once again congratulated Patriarch Bartholomew on the double anniversary, which he recently celebrated – 30 years of election and enthronement to the patriarchal throne of the Great Church of Christ in Constantinople.
Patriarch Bartholomew thanked Epifaniy for the good wishes, adding that he was in good health and recalling with the warmth of heart and joy in his soul his recent visit to Ukraine.
Also, he recalled the successful visit to the United States, which he completed recently.
