The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church has opened a coronavirus vaccination center in its Patriarchal Cathedral in Kyiv.
That’s according to the Cathedral’s website.
Its head, Sviatoslav Shevchuk, suggests mass vaccination could be launched in other UGCC cathedrals as well.
The opening of the vaccination point was announced on the website of the Patriarchal Cathedral.
Vaccine jabs for coronavirus will be offered daily, from 10:00 to 17:00.
As Sviatoslav Shevchuk said during a sermon on November 7, the vaccination point was opened at the request of the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports.
“Ukraine is currently going through the peak of the pandemic… There are four rules on how to really serve life today. The first is not to be afraid to take vaccine shots, the second is to wear face masks, to maintain social distancing, and to wash your hands,” Shevchuk said.
