Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine on July 15 chaired a meeting of the rectors of the Kyiv churches where he discussed with the priests the celebration of Rus-Ukraine Baptism Day and touched upon the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine’s independence and the forthcoming visit of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

In addition, the meeting discussed vaccination progress among clergy and teaching classes on spiritual and moral orientation at schools. New benefactors were also appointed in several districts of the capital city.
Concluding the event, Metropolitan Epifaniy handed the priests the sets of new vestments and certificates of OCU clergymen.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of the Kyiv Metropolis, Archbishop Agapit of Vyshhorod.
