I am trying not to offend the feelings of believers as much as possible, but it is impossible to remain silent about this all! All of us, residents of the eastern regions of Ukraine, remember how the war unfolded, who actively promoted the “bright Russian future” years before hostilities started. The Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is one of the organizations that contributed to the start of war plotted it.

As early as the 2000s, the so-called Cossack villages of the Russian Don Cossacks started forming, calling themselves defenders of churches and all the “light” that came to the people through them. In some churches, special Cossack detachments were set up to train youths, that is, love for Russia was imposed from childhood years, and certain Russian-nationalist traits were brought up in the new generation, which in 2014 became the driving force of the “Russian World.”
All this was done through prayers, and was consecrated by priests. The drills were held under the auspices of the Russian Orthodox Church, and the priests themselves took part more than once. At such events, everything Ukrainian was considered someone’s invention. The conflict in Chechnya has also been repeatedly used as an incentive in combat training. People were told about the brave exploits of the Russian military on the territory of another state, although the same thing was happening there as it is now in Ukraine.

The UOC-MP has always been aggressive towards other branches of Christianity and representatives of other religions that are different from their postulates, encouraging aggressive action against other believers, although in words and commandments, you shall “love their enemies.”
In 2014, many churches across eastern Ukraine actively promoted the “Russian World.” It was those fathers who were to bring peace and holiness who openly urged people to go out and build checkpoints to protect all Russian and the Orthodox faith from the impure and “fictional” evil religion of the European people, so to speak, to take up arms and become God’s defenders. Unfortunately, many have followed their call … They can only be compared to a herd of sheep led by wolves.
Let’s recall Sloviansk, where UOC -MP priests would come to militant posts and consecrate weapons, the church near Slavkurort served as an arms depot, while its leader, Father Vitaliy, took an active part in countering Ukrainian military along with the gangs. At that time, priests from village churches actively persuaded the faithful to help militants. It was upon their call that in 2014 many young people died in hostilities. Using old ladies, women holding icons, militants would set up human shields to stop our soldiers. Holding the icon in their hands and crossing themeslves, these people would shout out threats of massacres and curses at Ukrainian defenders, using obscenities. So much for their holy faith…
According to Hero of Ukraine, Major General of the Armed Forces Ihor Hordiychuk, churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP), the Svyatogorsk Lavra in Donbas housed terrorists and stored ammunition since the onset of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia:
“In the first days of war, I asked permission to take along e-warfare groups. We made several radio intercepts in Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. In one of our most valuable shrines – Svyatogorsk Lavra – a Chechen special forces detachment was stationed, Kadyrov’s men.”
Hordiychuk noted that confirmations of the report were coming from various sources. He reported evidence to his superiors, saying that there were more than a hundred terrorists, with weapons and ammunition, there in the caves.
“Then all this started to be confirmed when all churches of the Moscow Patriarchate were subjected to inspections. There were weapons, ammunition, equipment, and militants – these dual-purpose priests. It seems they’re both priests and militants. Putin’s army.”
Militant warlords pledged allegiance in Ukrainian churches flying Russian flags and those of sham statelets. In basements, where our defenders were held captive, those inhumane beings with crosses on their bellies observed the torture process, in fact, becoming the supervisors of those circles of Hell. Every donation from the faithful, every coin received from the sale of candles or church paraphernalia office was forwarded to the “needs of the republic.” It was through the churches that Russia financed its proxies in the early stages of conflict. According to the major general, terrorists had infiltrated Ukrainian territories in advance.
Based on the above, it can be concluded that the churches of the UOC-MP are nothing but part of the FSB structure. Priests openly claim that in Ukraine there’s a “liberation war” underway where the “Russian World” is fighting “Western evil spirits,” thus exposing themselves. Every day, from the churches of the UOC-MP, i.e. the ROC, prayers are heard for the “rest of the soul of the forgiven and noble Russian troops.”. They express care for their fellow occupiers every day. This is an entirely Russian church, where Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is called Russia’s defense against America on Ukrainian territory, or protection of “Russians” from cynical European values. At the same time, confessing to their crimes would be the same for them as shooting themselves in the knee. However, people still see what’s up.
