Kremlin-controlled propagandist forces are already preparing to “celebrate” Easter. Shortly before the great Christian holiday, servants of the Putin regime prepared a series of publications claiming that Kyiv is preparing to shell Ukrainian Orthodox churches on Easter night with “multiple victims” only to blame the Russian army.
In particular, the Readovka Telegram channel reports, citing the Russian Defense Ministry, that “Kyiv plans to attract a large number of Western media reporters to cover the atrocities committed by the Russians.”
“Provocations with multiple victims are being plotted in Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions. For these purposes, more than 70 mobile groups have been formed from among the nationalist battalions, planning to fire on Orthodox churches on Easter night and then accuse the Russian Federation of this,” Putin’s propagandists write.
Such accusations seem ridiculous, to say the least, as Kremlin henchmen are probably unaware that no services will be held in Ukraine on Easter night. State and local authorities have made a number of decisions stating that Easter services shall not be held during curfew.
Therefore, it is physically impossible to “videotape atrocities with multiple victims” on Easter night.
On the other hand, in more than 50 days of war, the civilized world has long learned a simple rule: any accusations against so-called “nationalist units” emanating from the Kremlin’s henchmen are an announcement of actions by the Russian occupying forces.
So it is likely that the shelling of Orthodox churches on Easter night may still take place. However, such acts of barbarism and hatred will be carried out exclusively by Putin’s servants to justify the full-scale aggression against Ukraine unleashed by war criminals in Kremlin offices.
