In Belarus, male citizens are leaving their country en masse over fears that their self-proclaimed President, Alexander Lukashenko, will send them to fight against Ukraine.
This was reported by Vadym Denysenko, an advisor to the Minister of Interior, at a joint telethon UA Together.
“A mass exodus of men has begun in Belarus. These men are afraid that Lukashenko may send troops to Ukraine, which I still doubt,” he said.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also adds that panic is brewing in Belarus, which is playing against Russia. “The greater this panic, the less likely it is that Lukashenko will even theoretically dare to move into Ukraine,” said the adviser to the interior minister.
