Those who stood in the way of Ukraine Army in Donbas now stand in the way of Ukrainian government –  Statement of OCU faithful

On the year of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, in the village of Mykhalcha, members of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, whose brothers, under the guise of processions and mass prayers, helped Russian proxies unleash war in the east of our country and stood on the way of our military, suddenly decided to go for a rally in Kyiv, claiming “persecution.”

That’s according to a Facebook post by the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in the village of Mykhalcha.

“Dear ‘persecuted’! Who drove you out of your church? It’s your priest! The one who is supposed to engage people in the church has expelled you from it, and now he is going to Kyiv, playing victim. Moreover, with the keys to the church in his pocket, he asks for ‘forgiveness’ from the families of the deceased as he cannot allow the bodies to the church. Meanwhile, ‘persecuted’ parishioners silently nod their heads, as if it’s okay. Aren’t you ashamed of yourselves? Your parents, mothers, grandmothers, and grandfathers are kept under the bell tower, because they are not allowed to church now. Good people of Mykhalcha, “who”, or better say “what”, drives you? Where is your mind? Who have you chosen to trust?” the authors of the post ask.

“Who is chasing you out”? You even took to Kyiv a banner saying ‘The capture of churches is a road to hell, not to God.” That’s right, closing, capturing the church, trampling on all the principles of morality, the pro-Moscow part of the village, led by the “persecuted” father, is on its way, and this road, unfortunately, is not to God…” the statement concludes.

Earlier, an ROCinU priest in Bukovyna attempted to disrupt the prayer for the Heavenly Hundred Heroes – fallen activists of the Revolution of Dignity. ROCinU has also launched a fake spin about the assault on their parishioner, allegedly by “OCU supporters” in Bukovyna.
