The editorial office of the Spiritual Front of Ukraine has learned that certain persons from the OCU Metropolitanate have commissioned through controlled media platforms an information campaign to discredit the hierarchs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the OCU, who are already working or are ready to work on the issue of achieving unity of Ukrainian Orthodoxy.
According to sources, the motive behind the campaign is rather simple – to compromise in the eyes of Ukrainian public and government the hierarchs who retain their own stance and do not share strategies and methods that only escalate the division. As a result, this will allow the masterminds behind the campaign to seal a monopoly in developing strategies that, in fact, serve only their own interests.
The SFU also learned that the campaign will involve media professionals experienced in performing similar stunts. Currently, they are actively exploring ways to launch an information attack.
The editorial office of the Spiritual Front of Ukraine publicly warns those who have commissioned and agreed to execute the campaign against realizing their intentions. Should they choose to proceed, the SFU reserves the right to make their names public.
