The other day, the head of the ROC Patriarch Kirill Gundyaev with his statement of nuclear weapons, which was created from the Lord’s knowledge and under the cover of St. Seraphim Sarovsky, hit yet another low. In his opinion, nuclear weapons saved Russia. He stated this during the awarding ceremony for Russian physicist Radiy Ilkayev.
Such statements are anti-Christian as they come against sacred writings and in general contradict Christian doctrine. Therefore, their use by the head of the Church, which by the way claims primacy in the Orthodox world is absurd and nonsensical! This could be said by a secular person, or a politician, but not a patriarch. Even a simple average layman could not allow themselves saying such things. After all, Christians have to put all their hope on God, not on weapons!
Scripture clearly says: “If it is not the Lord to guard the city, then the guard is in vain” (Psalm 126, Verse 1)! This means that everything is in the hands of God, and it is the Lord who keeps everyone and everything on earth. The Bible says the following about those who rely on people: “Damned is the person who hopes for another person and makes the flesh his support, and the heart of which departs from the Lord. It will be like a scream in the desert and he will not see when good comes, and he will settle in the hot places in the steppe, on the infertile, uninhabited land”(Book of the Prophet Jeremiah, 17th Chapter, Verses 5-6).
Christian history saw many cases where believers were in danger through enemies, but then the Lord, whom they prayed, rather than nuclear weapons, liberated them from this danger. For example, in the Old Testament, God repeatedly liberated the Israeli people from slavery, without modern weapons at that time. At the same time, the Israelis who had a small amount of troops, which mostly consisted of ordinary people without military skills, prevailed over enemies.
The scripture contains many cases of wonderful liberation of Constantinople from the invasion of foreigners, even in the absence of troops. And all this testifies to the main thing that God is not in power, but in truth! Whatever the capable army, and no matter how powerful weapons it has, it will never win if there is no God with them!
However, Kirill prefers not to mention this, and he puts all his hope in the power of the human, not the truth and omnipotence of God. The absurdity of Gundyaev’s words is also that, in his opinion, weapons are made from God’s craft. God has never blessed the creation of any weapon, especially nuclear arms. After all, God does not want people to kill each other! And the weapon, no matter how much consecrated it is, is the invention of the devil, because only he wishes death upon a person and rejoices when people annihilate each other.
Following such statements, it seems that Kirill is not a religious leader, but an average politician or intelligence agent who skillfully hides under the Patriarchal clothing. All this only shows the true face, the true nature of Kirill himself and the entire ROC. According to the external vienpium hidden a spiritlessly politicized structure, a kind of agent grid, which trusts Putin with his “nuclear suitcase”, not God. It would be worth looking into the Bible, which said: “Do not hope for the princes and the sons of the human, they have no salvation” (Psalm 145, 2nd).
What kind of future can this structure have in this religious wrap and with its leader? The answer to this question is also contained in the Bible, which says: “Here is a man who was not looking for his strength, but hoped for the power of his wealth and strengthened his crime. For that, God will destroy him to the end. He will throw and evict him from his house, eradicate him from the land of the living ”(Psalm 51st, Verses 9-7).
