A meeting between Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman and Michael Brodsky, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Ukraine, was held at the Central Synagogue in Kyiv.
The parties discussed support for Ukraine by Jewish communities and the diaspora, humanitarian initiatives, and assistance to those who need it most, the JewishNews website reported on February 19.
The rabbi noted that the Jewish community in Ukraine and aronud the world does not stand aside, because the Jewish people, like no one else, know what the struggle for life, freedom, and the future is.
We would like to add that the Israeli Embassy handed over one of the hundreds of mobile batteries brought to Ukraine to the Kyiv branch of the KinderVelt children’s rehabilitation center network.
