Patriarch Kirill (Gundyaev) of Moscow sent a congratulatory message to Alexei Pimanov, president of the Krasnaya Zvezda media holding, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Zvezda TV channel.
The holding is owned by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Christians Against War resource wrote.
According to the patriarch, “the TV channel has gained the trust of millions of viewers and has taken a worthy place in the Russian media space,” “contributes to the establishment of traditional family values in society, the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation.”
He expressed hope for “the continuation of our fruitful cooperation” and wished the propagandists “strength and inspiration, God’s help and success in their work for the benefit of the country and fellow citizens.”
