Following close cooperation between the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA and the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, a purchase of three logistical transportation vehicles has been finalized.
The vehicles have already been delivered from Poland to Ukraine, says the press service of the UOC of the USA.
“Speaking with His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphaniy, Vladyka Daniel assured the Primate, clergy and faithful of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in deep concern and love of the clergy and faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA for the people and nation of Ukraine,” the report says.
Recently, Epifaniy blessed and dedicated logistical transportation vehicles for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, thus transferring the keys to the military personnel of the 3017th Brigade.
“UOC of the USA has been working since the start of the war in Ukraine to get critical aid to those who need it most. Through our Metropolia oriented programs and individual parish projects, we have physically transported tons of logistical supplies to the people both within Ukraine and displaced in its neighboring countries,” the statement reads.
