51.8% of surveyed Ukrainians believe that the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) contribute to Russian aggression in one way or the other.
This is evidenced by a survey run by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation together with the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from August 5 to August 12, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
In particular, the respondents were asked to choose from two judgments the one with which they mostly agree.
Some 51.8% chose the opinion that the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) rather contribute to Russian aggression. At the same time, 11.1% opted for these activities rather contributing to the defense of Ukraine. 37.1% found the question difficult to answer.
During the survey, 2,024 respondents over the age of 18 were interviewed.
