More than half of surveyed Ukrainians believe UOC-MP actions contribute to Russian aggression

51.8% of surveyed Ukrainians believe that the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) contribute to Russian aggression in one way or the other.

This is evidenced by a survey run by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation together with the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from August 5 to August 12, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

In particular, the respondents were asked to choose from two judgments the one with which they mostly agree.

Some 51.8% chose the opinion that the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) rather contribute to Russian aggression. At the same time, 11.1% opted for these activities rather contributing to the defense of Ukraine. 37.1% found the question difficult to answer.

During the survey, 2,024 respondents over the age of 18 were interviewed.
