    Georgian Church supports Ukrainian refugees

With the blessing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, the youth organization of the Patriarchate, Davitianni, started the second stage of the humanitarian mission to help Ukrainian immigrants in Georgia.

Since July 25, an information and humanitarian center has been operating on the territory of the Trinity Church, where everyone can offer assistance in any form – be it food, medicines, clothes, or other necessities, which will be sorted and distributed by volunteers with Davitianni and the Our Ukraine nonprofit.

With the financial support of the International Orthodox Christian Organization, IOCC, 1,000 supermarket chain vouchers worth GEL 100 were purchased, to be issued to Ukrainian refugees in the following categories: pregnant women, single mothers, families with young children, disabled people, and senior citizens over 60 years of age.
