The head of the Autocephalous Ukrainian Orthodox Church discussed with the distinguished guest the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine and its consequences in Mariupol, Bucha, Borodianka, Irpin, Hostomel, and other settlements that suffered terrible destruction and civilian casualties, the OCU press service reports.
The parties also talked international relations, support for Ukraine from the international community, and the interfaith situation.
In addition, the issue of the Greek Republic providing scholarships for Ukrainian students to study on its territory was raised during the meeting.
It should be recalled that the head of the OCU accepted 11 more communities that shifted away from the UOC-MP in Kyiv region.
