Putin’s criminal regime, which retains power in the Russian Federation, continues its attacks on the freedom of speech, trying to hide the truth about the unprovoked and unjustified war the Kremlin is waging against Ukraine.
This time, the anger of Vladimir Putin and his aides was sparked by the first interview that the Russian media had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky since the start of a full-scale Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
Putinists failed to prevent the release of the said interview. It was made public and widely circulated online. As a result, the Putin regime threatened “repercussions” for all media outlets that published videos or texts of Zelensky’s meeting with journalists.
In particular, according to the Meduza outlet, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has already vowed to “look into the situation.”
“The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation will assess the content of Zelensky’s interview,” the agency said in a statement, according to the outlet’s Telegram channel.
