Dear brothers and sisters! The first day of spring became the sixth day of Ukraine’s indomitable resistance to Russian aggression. Thanks to the endurance, mutual assistance, heroism and sacrifice of millions of people, the enemy’s plan to quickly seize the capital and destroy our statehood was broken. The whole civilized world looks with admiration at the steadfastness of our fight against tyranny.
We have to pay a terrible price for our freedom, for the future of new generations. Only demonic fury can explain criminal attacks of Russian troops on civilians, shelling of residential areas with rocket artillery and missiles.
Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Mariupol, and other cities today have been attacked, which cannot be described otherwise than acts of state-sponsored terrorism and crimes against humanity. Today we learned about a possible missile attack even on the spiritual heart of Ukraine, St. Sophia of Kyiv. Missiles also hit Babyn Yar, the site of the Nazi massacre of tens of thousands of civilians during World War 2. Today, blood was shed there again – already at the hands of Russian criminals.
Eternal memory to all those who died in the struggle for freedom and independence of Ukraine, to all victims of the Russian attack! May their souls rest with the righteous.

We still have a difficult struggle ahead of us, but already now everyone, except Putin himself, understands that Ukraine is winning. It is winning through indomitable spirit, extraordinary sacrifice, through the power of love. After all, this force that unites us with God and our neighbors cannot be defeated by any weapon.
Our defenders! We pray especially for all of you at this time. May the Almighty Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and all the saints protect you and guard you from evil, inspire you to fight until victory.
We are extremely grateful to the doctors who are saving lives in these difficult circumstances.
