“Had our state had a strong spiritual foundation from the beginning of the restoration of Independence, the ‘body’ of the country would not be falling apart, and we would probably have been able to avoid the occupation of Crimea and the war in eastern Ukraine. Because catholicity is not only about the unity of territories, first of all, it is about spiritual unity. The unity of our state rests on the unity of our souls. So, in the words of the famous Ukrainian writer Oles Honchar, I call on all of you: ‘Take care of the cathedrals of your souls, my friends… Cathedrals of your souls!’”
This was written by Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine on the Day of the Unification of Ukraine, as quoted by OCU priest Hryhoriy Petrushchak, who took to Facebook to share his reflections.
“Exactly. Because even today we have two Churches and two groups of people who are at enmity with each other, because some are brought up in love for God and Ukraine, and others, those with the ROC in Ukraine, are zombies standing against Ukraine,” he added.
“Here is the strategy of our enemy, which they stuck to through the Kharkiv coup. Delete the Kharkiv coup and we would not have known the struggle between these two opposing parties, which is still going on today. After all, had we had a United Local Orthodox Church of Ukraine, we would have had the only education in love for God and Ukraine,” said the OCU priest.
He explained that, since we have the ROCinU, that is why we have the institution of zombies nostalgic for Egyptian, Soviet slavery. “This was the idea of the Kharkiv, anti-cephalic, anti-Ukrainian coup.”
“The difference between the OCU and the MP in Ukraine is that the ROC is zombifying its adherents against Ukraine, feeding them hatred for everything Ukrainian. On the contrary, the OCU educates its parishioners in love for God and Ukraine, because we don’t need anything else. Meanwhile, the ROC and the MP in Ukraine need the Russian world, which is hindered by Ukraine,” said Father Hryhoriy Petrushchak.
“Therefore, it is necessary to flee as soon as possible from those who have become zombies against the Local Orthodox Church of Ukraine and against the state of Ukraine. After all, ‘He who does not take care of his own people, has renounced his faith,’ says the apostle,” concluded the OCU priest.
