The Spiritual Front of Ukraine celebrates its third anniversary

Our initiative emerged following the Unification Council of Ukrainian Orthodoxy as an information platform promoting Ukrainian Orthodoxy independent of Moscow and exposing anti-Ukrainian propaganda by the Kremlin and the Russian Orthodox Church.

Throughout this time, we have published more than 10,000 articles. We post in Ukrainian, English, and Greek. Currently, we’re working to develop our video service.

Our team worked closely with the press service of the Ecumenical Patriarchate during the visit of His Eminence Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to Ukraine on the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence. The efforts of SFU founder Oleksandr Yefremenko and other members of our team were personally noted by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

The Spiritual Front also covered the Ecumenical Patriarch’s visit to the United States and Greece, as well as His All-Holiness’s numerous meetings with these countries’ leadership.

We covered all the details and nuances of the recognition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine by other Local Churches.

We covered transition of Ukrainian parishes from the Moscow-led church to the OCU and the challenges facing them . We exposed the ROC’s lies about the alleged “seizure of temples,” “persecution of priests,” and “illegal registration of communities.”

The Spiritual Front of Ukraine has been closely monitoring the situation in the temporarily occupied territories. We covered the crimes committed by the invaders and collaboration of the Moscow-controlled UOC-MP with the occupation authorities.

We have also been monitoring the aggressor’s actions in the religious and humanitarian areas throughout the hybrid Russo-Ukrainian war.

The Spiritual Front has been covering the moves of the Moscow Patriarchate’s branch in Ukraine. We wrote about the ROCinU’s opposition to the laws on standardization of their title, as well as about collaborationism, chaplaincy, ROCinU’s participation in the campaign to undermine the Ukrainian government’s measures to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

We have repeatedly argued in our publications that the ROC in Ukraine is part of the Moscow Patriarchate that follows all instructions issued by Moscow.

The Spiritual Front analyzed all attempts by the Kremlin and the ROC to sow division in World Orthodoxy, create problems for those Local Churches that have recognized the OCU, and challenge the supremacy of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

We will continue our work, delivering the latest stories and updates.

Thank you all for following, reading, and watching us.

    Glory to Ukraine!
