Christian literature found in rubble of Kharkiv house destroyed by Russian bomb

On September 24, the Russian invasion forces dropped a bomb on a high-rise apartment block in Kharkiv where the emergency response team later found Christian books in the rubble.

The chief of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, posted a photo showing the fallout of the FAB-500 bombardment. The images show a book cover with a cross amid the rubble, which reminds us of the presence of faith even in the midst of the horrors of war.

Among the charred walls and debris, Christian literature serves as a symbol of hope for those who continue holding on amid these difficult trials.

It should be recalled that the archimandrite of the Russian Orthodox Church called to kill all “godless” people “in this war”. Also, a Russian national was admitted to a psychiatric ward after participating in the war, for which he had been blessed by an ROC cleric.
