The Primate of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine spoke with Homeland defenders about repelling Russia’s onslaught and countering the pernicious ideology of the “Russian world”. He also honored the unit with a high church award.
Awards were also conferred on a number of soldiers. In particular, Yurii Pylypenko and Serhiy Shchukaryov were posthumously awarded medals of sacrifice and love for Ukraine posthumously.
