Another religious community in Ukraine quits Moscow Patriarchate

The religious community in the village of Sobishytsi, Varash community, transitioned to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

This was announced on Facebook by Oleksandr Derevianchuk, a local resident.

“Yesterday, in the gym of the local lyceum, a meeting of the religious community was held on the issue of changing the canonical subordination from the UOC (MP) to the OCU.

The corresponding decision was made almost unanimously, with only one person being against the move, four abstaining, and two refusing to vote.

Respect to the residents of the village, who managed to tell “Moscow religious profanation” from the true Orthodox faith as part of the united canonical Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

Respect to the members of the initiative group, who implemented important changes in the Community!

“More’s to come… Thank God! Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!” the report says.

    We congratulate the community!
