SBU blocks two websites supporting split in Orthodoxy

According to the so-called Union of Orthodox Journalists, its website https://spzh.live was blocked to comply with the order of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection.

The order states that the sites shall be blocked pending martial law.

In fact, they are blocking a resource that defends the interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (in unity with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church) and justifies the split of Orthodoxy in Ukraine, despite the provision of the Tomos of autocephaly. Several journalists from the platform operated from the territory of the aggressor state, and some were charged by the SBU. Also, the SBU forwarded to court a case of a large-scale FSB human asset network where among the accused is an UOC (MP) cleric Chertylin. Religious expert Yuriy Chornomorets proposed to imprison the hierarchs of the UOC MP for 10 years for collaborationism, in particular, support for the SPZh platform and others alike.

Earlier, the SPZh published a list of “our heroes”, which includes the full names of people suspected of crimes against Ukraine. However, SPZh refers to them as professionals who are “not guilty of anything”.

As of 9 a.m., November 16, the website https://spzh.live was working in Ukraine.

It should be recalled that the SBU previously blocked the SPZh website, which lobbies for the split of Orthodoxy in Ukraine
