On August 28, 2024, His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine met in his residence with His Eminence Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas, the Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy head of the Department of External Church Relations of the OCU, Metropolitan Yevstratiy of Bila Tserkva, and the adviser of the Nunciature, Monsignor Joseph Maramreddy.
The parties discussed the religious situation of Ukraine in the context of ongoing Russian military aggression and current issues of international cooperation.
