US House Speaker Mike Johnson has accused Russia of targeted attacks on Christians in Ukraine.

“Russia is targeting Christians in Ukraine. Purposefully. I saw photos of families who were ‘cleaned out’ by targeted missile strikes on their apartments because they were Christians. This shows exactly what Putin and his regime are like,” Speaker Johnson said.
The statement was made against the background of Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, highlighting US concerns about Moscow’s methods of waging war. Johnson, one of the most influential Republican politicians, practically accused Russia of war crimes and religious oppression.
It should be recalled that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA provided another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukrainians suffering from the Russian invasion.
