The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy, will serve on Easter in the St. Michael Cathedral, from 23:00 on April 15.
The press service of the OCU clarified that on Easter, the morning liturgy in the Assumption Cathedral will be conducted by Rev. Archimandrite Avraamiy, Acting Vicar of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra with the OCU. It is noted that Metropolitan Epifaniy will serve from 23:00 in the St. Michael Cathedral, writes UNN with reference to Suspilne.
The schedule will be announced later, since curfew will not be canceled in the capital on Easter.
“This causes some difficulties because at this time, people are not allowed to be outside. The prayer will be held in the Lavra’s Assumption Cathedral, but most likely after curfew is over in the morning,” said Epifaniy.
