Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, held a prayer for Ukraine’s victory over the aggressor in the temple located in the Verkhovna Rada.
This was reported by the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
“Prayer for the Victory of Ukraine over the aggressor. Prayer for our troops who protect Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. On St. Nicholas Day, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine led a prayer service in the church located at the Verkhovna Rada premises,” said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada emphasized that the Ukrainian church should be present in the Ukrainian parliament.
“From now on, this Church is open to all Ukrainian churches, which prove their loyalty and devotion to the Ukrainian People and pray for Ukraine and our Victory,” emphasized Stefanchuk.
