Russian invasion forces have amassed significant numbers of soldiers and military equipment in eastern Ukraine.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who addressed the International Security Forum in Bratislava.
According to Zelensky, Russia has gathered “all” combat-capable forces and hardware in the east. As a result, up to 100 people die every day.
“There is a battle for values going on there. I’d like everyone to realize that after the deoccupation of the territory around Kyiv and some regions of our state, the war continues – and hundreds of people, hundreds of families will never see their loved ones again. This happens every day. And that is why it is a great, great challenge for us,” Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized.
He added that the Ukrainian military is achieving great success in Kharkiv direction. Therefore, the president called on EU leaders to not waste time and to help Ukraine with arms supplies and financial assistance.
