Metropolitan Epifaniy consecrates ambulance vehicles donated to help occupiers’ victims

On May 2, the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, consecrated at the premises of St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery in Kyiv eight ambulance vehicles which will be transferred to cities particularly affected by the Russian occupation.

This was reported by the Spiritual Front of Ukraine with reference to the OCU press service.

Specialized vehicles were purchased in close cooperation with the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the United States (Ecumenical Patriarchate) with the direct participation of Metropolitan Anthony of Hierapolis (Shcherba), Archbishop of Pamphylia Daniel (Zelinsky) and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the USA.

It should be recalled that in mid-April SFU reported that the UOC in the USA had donated ambulances and trucks to help injured Ukrainians. The UOC in the United States also continues to deliver humanitarian aid to Ukraine, having raised over $1.3 million.
