The educational process was stopped on the territory of Crimea, which was temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation. The reason for the move was the need to place in schools Russian soldiers arriving on the peninsula for further deployment into Ukraine.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In the city of Dzhankoi, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the educational process was suspended in secondary schools as they will further be used to accommodate Russian military servicemen arriving in the city,” the statement said.
With this decision, the occupiers clearly set their priorities. The Putin regime does not need to have future generations of Russians capable of critical thinking and having basic knowledge. Instead, continuing a senseless and unjustified war against Ukraine has long been the Kremlin’s No. 1 goal.
