“Dear citizens! I sincerely congratulate all those who, together with their closest and dearest people, are meeting the first star in the evening sky tonight. Its appearance marks a special moment and a special holiday \u2013 Christmas. Once the birth of the Son of God gave people hope for salvation and faith in the victory of life. May this holiday strengthen our faith, hope and, most importantly, love!\u201d Zelensky said in his Christmas video address<\/a> to the nation<\/p>\n According to the President, Christmas Eve is the best moment for understanding and reconciliation between people.<\/p>\n “May all this be a thing of the past, and may wellbeing come to our families, happiness \u2013 to our homes, and peace and prosperity \u2013 to our country.
