On August 22, representatives of the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy \u2013 Honorary President Viacheslav Briukhovetsky, Acting President Oleksandra Humenna, graduate and associate professor of the University, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Politics and Freedom of Conscience Olena Bohdan, and Director of the Center for European Studies Kostiantyn Sihov presented Patriarch Bartholomew with an Honorary Doctor\u2019s diploma, “Honoris Causa,” of the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.<\/p>\n

The diploma was awarded at the reception on the occasion of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew\u2019s official visit to Ukraine. At the opening of the event, the Revutsky Chapel sang the spiritual hymn of Ukraine, “God is great, one” and the Lord’s Prayer.<\/p>\n

At the end of the official part, His All-Holiness signed the University\u2019s Golden Book where the most prominent figures and honorary doctors leave their autographs.<\/p>\n
