Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine on July 15 chaired a meeting of the rectors of the Kyiv churches where he discussed with the priests the celebration of Rus-Ukraine Baptism Day and touched upon the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine\u2019s independence and the forthcoming visit of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.<\/p>\n

In addition, the meeting discussed vaccination progress among clergy and teaching classes on spiritual and moral orientation at schools. New benefactors were also appointed in several districts of the capital city.<\/p>\n

Concluding the event, Metropolitan Epifaniy handed the priests the sets of new vestments and certificates of OCU clergymen.<\/p>\n

The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of the Kyiv Metropolis, Archbishop Agapit of Vyshhorod.<\/p>\n\r\n
