OCU<\/a> press service reports.<\/p>\nDuring the meeting, the parties discussed the recently presented edition of the new Ukrainian translation of the Bible, the work on which lasted 27 years and which was published with the assistance of the Norwegian Bible Society.<\/p>\n
The parties also spoke of the ongoing struggle of the Ukrainian people aimed at repelling Russia\u2019s full-scale aggression, support for displaced Ukrainians in Norway and other Nordic nations, and continued cooperation for the spread of the Holy Scriptures.<\/p>\n
“I am glad to welcome you to our spiritual center, even though this night was restless because of yet another Russian attack. We continue our struggle because we believe that the Lord is with us. Therefore, this terrible war must end justly \u2013 with the victory of Ukraine, because good must defeat evil. Great Lent is currently underway, during which we especially remember that the Lord came to resurrection through suffering, through Calvary. And Ukraine is currently moving toward victory through suffering, so we call on everyone to pray for Ukraine and continue to support our state in this difficult time,” said Metropolitan Epifaniy.<\/p>\n
