Yes, someone visited UOC-MP churches in Ukraine, then went abroad and goes to the same churches \u2013 no jurisdictional changes have occurred for them. Also, many of those who used to go to the churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP) no longer want to go there anymore, looking for an alternative. And this is very challenging to do abroad,” the archimandrite assured.<\/p>\n
Because of this, according to him, unique situations arise: “I know one community in Stockholm that wants to be on its own. They do not want to cooperate with the local Metropolitan of Constantinople. And to be more precise, he does not want to deal with them. Therefore, the community in Stockholm, which I am talking about, is trying to get support from the UOC\/OCU, but so far it has not found it. This particular community in the capital of Sweden found itself in an even more suspended state than even the UOC-MP communities, which are also in Scandinavia. However, in Sweden we have solved some issues with alternatives.”<\/p>\n
The speaker also told in which countries the UOC MP is growing now: “I think Italy and Germany… In fact, everywhere, except for Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, because there are local churches with which the UOC MP has good relations.”<\/p>\n
