SBU operatives in Dnipro have exposed an anti-Ukrainian campaign run by a Russia supporter who justified the armed aggression against Ukraine and the enemy’s occupation of Ukrainian territories.<\/p>\n

Now the man faces restriction of freedom for up to eight years.<\/p>\n
“An unemployed resident of Dnipro was exposed, who turned out to be a parishioner of the UOC MP. He has been providing services to church members in the manufacture of religious paraphernalia.<\/p>\n
Among his close circle of friends and parishioners, the man actively promoted pro-Russian narratives and campaigned to support the so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
The investigation established that the agitator had visited the annexed Crimea before the start of the war, where he accumulated narratives of anti-Ukrainian propaganda.<\/p>\n
In addition, he repeatedly took part in Russia-designed “immortal regiment” marches.<\/p>\n
After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he intensified his presence in pro-Russian communities in the banned social network\u00a0 Vkontakte.<\/p>\n
Posts published on his personal page, as well as comments, were deemed destructive,” the SBU said.<\/p>\n
