The couple visited the site of mass killings in Bucha just outside Kyiv, and then a residential area in Irpin, which had been hit by large-scale missile attacks.<\/p>\n
In Kyiv, the two visited St. Sophia’s Cathedral, and also learned about with the history and architectural features of the monument of Ukrainian culture.<\/p>\n
In particular, they were told about the unique frescoes and mosaics that decorate the interior of the temple.<\/p>\n
First Lady Olena Zelenska of Ukraine discussed with Kim Kong Hee the issue of protection of Ukrainian cultural heritage amid Russian aggression.<\/p>\n
