That\u2019s according to a UOC (MP) priest Andriy Pinchuk, who touched upon the issue on his <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/veseliy_pip\/2265\">Telegram<\/a> channel.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You can shout as much as you want about the complete independence of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from the Russian Orthodox Church, but the Local Churches believe otherwise&#8230; Here are the words of Serbian Patriarch Porfirije in his appeal for support of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church: &#8220;The Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a living and active Church of God in the unity of faith and liturgical communication with the Russian Orthodox Church and Orthodox Churches in general,&#8221; writes Pinchuk.<\/p>\n<p>He also recalled the attitude of the Serbian Orthodox Church to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (MP) after the May 27 council held in Kyiv\u2019s Feofania.<\/p>\n<p>On July 17, 2022, the Serbian Patriarch served in Zagreb.
