Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev reacted hysterically to Ukraine\u2019s decision to sanction the UOC (MP). He called the Ukrainian authorities “Kyiv Satanists” and “Christ-sellers.”<\/p>\n
On his Telegram channel, Medvedev complained that Ukraine is looking in the Moscow Patriarchate \u201cfor connections with the Russian world\u201d and \u201ctaking away church property.\u201d According to the former president of the Russian Federation, clerics and parishioners of the UOC (MP) are allegedly being “assaulted” in Ukraine, reports Obozrevatel<\/a>.<\/p>\n Medvedev added that the “persecution” of the UOC (MP) allegedly began during the presidency of Petro Poroshenko, and that the incumbent Ukrainian government “openly became enemies of Christ and the Orthodox faith.”<\/p>\n The former president of the aggressor country cynically quoted the Holy Scriptures, addressing the “Christ sellers of Kyiv”: ” And my eye will not spare you, nor will I have pity, but I will punish you for your ways, while your abominations are in your midst.
