In the temporarily occupied Crimea, local partisans intensified their efforts within the resistance movement, opposing the Russian occupation of the peninsula.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s according to a spokesperson for the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine\u2019s Defense Ministry, Vadym Skibitskyi<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the defense intelligence official, the regrouping of Russian troops in Kherson and Zaporizhia directions is underway as a battalion-tactical group (600 to 1,000 troops) of Russian paratroopers has arrived in Crimea, set to be deployed in mainland Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The occupiers are also strengthening their air defense system on the peninsula.<\/p>\n

“Against this background, the guerillas and the movement against the occupiers became more proactive. People are preparing for the fact that we will return there,” said Skibitskyi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
