Petro Oleshchuk, a political scientist and Associate Professor at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, gave such an assessment of the latest statements of the Synod of the UOC-MP on May 12.<\/p>\n

In the wake of the statement, issued by the ROC in Ukraine (also known as the UOC-MP), the following became obvious to the expert, according to his Facebook<\/a> post:<\/p>\n

1) They are under Moscow\u2019s full control and will do nothing about it so all is being done totally consciously and voluntarily;<\/p>\n

2) The messages they voice also come from Moscow in the form of “narrative instructions”;<\/p>\n

3) They are taking part in a psy-op targeting Ukraine, which aims to incite hostilities within the country, on which, apparently, someone in the bunker is now counting;<\/p>\n

4) Another goal of the psy-op is to make Ukrainians have guilty conscience, making them think they have somehow \u201cprovoked\u201d the bunker psycho.<\/p>\n

5) At the same time, they have permission to “moderately criticize” Moscow authorities, but without specifically pointing to the aggressors and criminals.<\/p>\n
