On January 25, a meeting was held between the acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, and the heads of religious organizations in Kyiv region.
Metropolitan Oleksandr and Archpriest Valeriy Zhyhuts, head of the department for cooperation with law enforcement agencies and the public, participated from the Pereyaslav-Vyshneve Diocese.
During the meetings, the parties discussed the operations of religious organizations amid war, assistance to internally displaced persons, improving the level of mental health of vulnerable strata in wartime, adaptation to civilian life, challenges and problems of the present, etc.
