On December 14, 2022, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Diocese, Bishop Simeon (Zinkevych), met with the newly appointed Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the region, Yuri Koretsky.
The meeting was also attended by an honored guest, a good friend of the diocese and long-time head of the State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Andrii Kulbach.
The archpastor congratulated the new chief on his appointment and wished God’s blessing in carrying out such an important and responsible service.
Bishop Simeon also conducted a tour of the diocesan museum for the guests and presented them with commemorative gifts.
It should be recalled that the diocese has long been cooperating with the emergency service of the city. In particular, chapels, memorials, etc. have been opened on the territory of fire stations.
