Temples, administration of Izium eparchy of UOC-MP

Churches and administration of the Izium Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine (UOC-MP) were damaged during the shelling

As a result of the shelling of the Russian occupiers, the churches and administration of the Izium Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine (UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate) were damaged. In the Izium Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the UOC-MP is still silent about the Russian invasion, but hiding behind beautiful euphemisms prays “for peace.”

The press service of the Izium Eparchy of the UOC-MP published photos of the mutilated objects, leaving the photos without comment. On the website of the Izium Diocese, even after the shelling of their churches, there is no condemnation of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, Vladimir Putin, the Russian leadership, or the Russian military occupiers.

On March 22, during the shelling of the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region by the Russian occupiers, the Ascension Cathedral of the Moscow Patriarchate, where the miraculous icon of the Sandy Mother of God is kept, was damaged.

The building of the eparchial administration of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine (UOC-MP) was also damaged in Izium. This is evidenced by three photos from March 27.

Serious damage was inflicted on the Church of the Assumption of the Moscow Patriarchate in the village of Korobochkine, Chuguiv district, Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling on March 19, the church was practically destroyed.
