ROC’s Cyril accuses West of arms supplies to Ukraine for war with “blood brothers”

Russian patriarch Kirill (Gundyaev) has blamed “external forces” for their attempts to divide the Ukrainian and Russian peoples.

The church leader spoke of this on March 9, after the Liturgy in the Church of Christ the Savior, Interfax-Religion reports.

“Today, the topic of Russian-Ukrainian relations has become part of big, or, as they say, geo-politics, and one of the goals of this geopolitics is to weaken Russia, which has become a strong, really powerful country. But how disgusting and vile it is using a fraternal people to achieve these geopolitical goals, how horrible it is to incite this nation against its brothers, how horrible it is to arm it so that it may enter into a fight with its blood brothers and sisters!” said the head of the ROC.

Patriarch Kirill sang his favorite song about “one nation, which is strong, and so the neighbors began to do everything to divide this nation.” According to Kirill, all those who are doing this are enemies of both Russia and Ukraine,” so they are against the will of God, which is always aimed at peace, brotherhood, and love.”

The leader of the Moscow Patriarchate noted that “the enemy of the human race, through specific people, through specific associations of people, is throwing lies into the relations between our nations,” and based on this a conflict further develops.

“Where there is a devil, there is always a lie,” he went on. Meanwhile, according to the Patriarch, “no, these are not fakes, no, these are not tricks, this is just a devilish lie,” and people must remain vigilant about everything that is being said.
